Introduction to Fillers (lips)
Fillers are a liquid implant. Injections with fillers are injected to fill in wrinkles or make up for volume loss.

Unlike Botulinum toxin A, fillers can fill in the missing or lost volume with age and eliminate unevenness and wrinkles.
While botulinum toxin A smoothes out the wrinkle without removing the fracture, the filler can fill in the fracture line by slightly lifting it.
We use hyaluronic acid fillers, but synthetic biopolymers are also available! When using modern hyaluronic acid fillers, you will get attractive, plump lips without any serious risks.
Type of filler
Fillers can be based on different substances, which determine its type. Biodegradable fillers are the best.
These are modern preparations that are biocompatible and are not perceived by our body as foreign.
They do not cause allergies and have almost no side effects.
Most often hyaluronic acid is the basis of such fillers.
In rare cases, allergic reactions are possible.
Usually all the consequences of the procedure are reduced to swelling and bruising in the injection area, which disappear with proper care in a few days after the procedure.
Also, thickening and lumps may appear.
In this case, 7-14 days later, it is better to come to the specialist who did the augmentation and stretch the lips - on the lump to press hard 2-my fingers and hold. Then you can if you want finish the injection in case there is a slight asymmetry or just want more.
When can you see the final effect?
Around any implant, even around fillers, there is an increased production of connective tissue, so there may be capsules and induration. The first few days there may be swelling, slight bruising and hypercorrection (fillers are hydrophilic - attracts water, swelling is possible).
What is the condition of the lips immediately after the procedure?
Immediately after the augmentation procedure:
edema appears, lips look swollen,
redness,
slight lumpiness is possible,
blurred lip contour.
As a rule, it passes in a few days.
Feeling after the procedure is different for everyone, for some the swelling goes faster, for others it takes longer. Painful sensations are strictly individual.
How long does the effect of fillers last
From 3-4 months to one year.
It depends on the injection area, density of the drug, skin condition, lifestyle.
For small wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, choose products that dissolve faster.
In the nasolabial folds fillers are denser and hold better.
Also, the lifetime of the filler depends on the activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase in the body. This enzyme breaks down hyaluronic acid.
IMPORTANT
Inform your doctor what fillers were made last time, not all fillers are compatible with each other!
DO NOT use 24 hours makeup
Do not drink alcohol before or after the procedure.
Fillers are sometimes referred to as a "lunchtime procedure" because they require no special preparation.
However, do the manipulation with a certain margin of time - 5-7 days. Do not plan the procedure on the eve of a trip or an important event.
What else is not allowed right after the procedure?
For 3-5 days it is not allowed:
baths, swimming pools, beaches, tanning beds,
sunbathing,
facial massage,
exercise,
going to the dentist.
Strong facial massages, vacuum massages, hardware facials, as well as sports sauna, anesthesia contribute to a faster release of the product
